woohoo, 1 more day tomorrow and the 1st week of term 2 is officially over! anyway got back my macroeconomics results today, quite shocked because i didn't expect to do well. but it was a good start.. i am very determine to score well for this module! haha.
tomorrow will be LMS project presentation, hope everything will go well and our hard work can finally be paid off =) and 6pm tomorrow, zhenhui and I will be taking part in the Best Buddy Competition in Np at LT51. do come down and vote for us if ure are free haha :) we must win the the 2 movie tickets man!!

just so glad to have BURDEN in my pathetic life now, especially zhenhui, cherlyn, kelly, joyce and liting! thats all of BURDEN man. HAHA. can never thank you girls enough =) i wanna be there for you all as much as you all would be there for me!!

1st day of school today! it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be.. LOL. got back my results for 2 papers. principle of accounting (poa) and business computer applications (bca). got 76/100 for poa, damn disappointing. but can't blame anybody or anything but only myelf. luckily bca's results is alright.. got 85.5/100. so i guess it still balance out.

haiz. so many projects are dued, very very soon. gotta work hard already! take care people, mug hard for yr block/summer/common or whateverelse tests!!

holidays are ending in less than 3 days time. oh man, im super not looking forward to going back to school. once school starts, the hectic schedule will pour in very soon. and the constant reminders that many of my projects are dued very soon ain't helping either.

how i wish my life was more fulfilling like how it was when i was in sec3/4? now i'm just wasting my ass away everyday by sitting in front of the tv and computer. i feel that i've not achieved anything big for this past 1/2 year. all i did was slack, slack, slack and still slack all my time away! and i have absolutely no mood to do any tutorials/studying. what the heck is wrong with me. i really need to find my motivation man :)

life's pretty boring nowadays. nothing in life interest me except for food! LOL. hopefully i can really regain the mood for trainings. miraculousy, i miss trainings :) shall pull myself to go for trainings when school reopens!
now is already 1++am and i still can't get to sleep! and i need to wake up at 10am to go for tb26's class gathering LATER! sleep sleep sleep.. somebody hypnotize me to sleep now!!

he sang wherever you will go. not bad, but i guessed he was reallyyy nervous =X still hope he will get into the next round and do year1 BS students proud! WOOHOO! haha =)










m2 - Desmond Lau
desmond was the 2nd male english performer. he sang amazed. not bad i should say.. but abit wasted towards the end. looked so emo on stage, but his voice is good. defintely deserves to get into the next round!


i voted for m7-Razif Bin Sarman!










i really like his rendition of Me and Mrs Jones. so jazzy. but abit too much like Taufik's version? anyway i enjoyed his performance the most! so hope he gets into semi finals!

she got 2 of her friends to play guitars live and she blew us away with her rendition of Come On Over! her voice is sooooo good! and the unplugged effect really was great! hope she gets into semi-finals because she is really GOOD!

b9 - Peck Kai Quan
he was the best looker amongst all and i thought he looked abit like leon lim from PSS! haha. he sang Ni Bu Zai. not that bad and lydia voted for him :)









g3- You Shimei
she looked abit like jolin tsai, sounded abit like jolin tsai and she sang a song by jolin tsai! not bad huh? =D
so we sat through all 32 contestants; some were really boringgg but some were really good. and hossan leong and some producer for starsearch were there as the judge panel. i was quite surprised to see some big shots there.
the highlight of the whole competition was defintely the performance by...































TANK !!!
1st song was san guo lian and followed by wo men xiao shi hou. me and lydia agreed that he looked abit like stanley goh and xiao zhu (luo zhi xiang). haha. mixture of both and tada you get TANK!
after which he sang 4 songs while playing on this guitar. its exactly the same guitar in this picture. heard its a gift from david tao. anyway he sang hao xin you hao bao (a song which he wrote for SHE) , jie tuo (by zhang hui mei) , my happy ending (by avril lavigne) and lastly, kiss me (by sixpence none the richer)!
i must say he is really good man! his voice and stage presence. all the girl fans of his went to the front of the stage and almost melted there man! he really got them going gaga over him and want him more! but i wasn't really a great fan of his so i was quite composed throughout his whole performance! HAHA!
































he finished the whole session with another 2 songs of his new album: ting ni dao di and gei wo ni de ai! the energy level was great! all was perfect except that zhenhui didn't turn up to sing! LOL. so we left the place around 10.15pm without knowing the results for the 20 contestants who had made it to the semis! haha but all in all, it was a great performance by the top32 finalists and TANK!! =)

how i wish i have good enough friends in np that i can attend such events with. hmmm.

okay, finally calm my nerves down =)
gonna update on BURDEN's day right now! we had our 1st ever BURDEN's day on 14june2006!
so happy. we met early in the morning and met joyce, zhenhui, cherlyn and kelly on the way on bus 969. then we meet liting at tampines mrt station and we took mrt to pasir ris mrt station and we walked all the way to PASIR RIS PARK! we wanted to go pasir ris park on many other occasions but to no avail because it always happen to rain whenever we wanna go there. so we were very HAPPY when it didn't rain a single drop that day! haha =)
we were like 3 years old kids like that. running about, playing the slides, swings and the playground. sort of like found back some childhood memories whenby life seems so perfect and carefree!

after which we proceed to white sands to have our lunch at CAVANA! we were practically starved to the max and we gobble down the chicken rice as if we had not eaten for 3 days! that's really how hungry we were.
even though it was just chicken rice, even though it was just burdens, the simple happiness i felt was beyond what words can say =)))))
so we took bus 88 to amk central and kbox from 3 to 7+pm! i think we really made our bucks worthwhile by singing and enjoying ourselves to the max! we even had the honour of watching KONGJENGHUEY'S live concert! it was W O W! haha. so we practically tore down the whole kbox and nearly cause an earthquake in amk central. haha. it was fun, real fun. never did i sing k until this extend. we sang manymanymanymanymany!!! songs! sang some solo, duet and group songs. damn touching when we ended with "peng you" as our finale song!

i really had lots of fun! playing at pasir ris park, taking photos, singing and eating. all of this wouldn't had made possible if it was not for BURDEN!
















BURDEN FOREVER! sch's starting in a few more days time. hope the next school term will be good for all of us! we shall have another BURDEN's day soon alright? =)

crashed tp on wednesday and nyp today! woohoo. 2 of the prettiest polys in singapore! really man. feels like heaven in tp! so design and artistic.. cool. and nyp ain't as bad as all of us think. quite a decent place.
we saw cheehow, mark and cailin at tp. saw linda, aw weixiang, jootat, shawn at nyp and hsingyee brought us around! we even had the chance to catch a glimpse of bandz out competition and foreign bodiez training! and of cos huangpeng playing the drums :DDD

so cool man. now that i've crashed almost all the polys in singapore, i'm only left with RP!! not to worry, i will defintely crash rp sooner or later =) ban and co, get ready to welcome us with open arms hehe.

suddenly got the feel to want to learn how to drum. don't know whether am i cut out for it. it seems so cool man. imagine a girl drummer =D omg lah. that would be so COOL! haha.
holidays has been quite mundane, hope some sparks can come in and let's kick some life into the next 2 weeks!!!!!

woohoo! finally finish my 1st ever common test at NP !!! so happy man~ finally! holidays, i am here! ended school today at 12pm. so had WCOM project group meeting until 4+pm then met up with kayjoo and we went to meet the rest at marina bay mrt station and off we went for steamboat! eat until damn full man. not to mention laughed alot with these bunch of IDIOTS! haha. had lots of fun overall!!
going yiyuan's chalet tomorrow.. and BURDEN's day is on next wednesday 14 june 06! cant wait for all the fun, fun and more funnnn!! =)

we ended the whole concert with a prayer. even though a prayer is very common in PHS, be it during activities or normal school time, we never fail to have just a prayer together as a school. this time it's considered quite special and it's been quite some time since i did this. feels so happy and touched to be back in PHS. this is where i really belong. the feeling is just so right.
during the 4 years in PHS, i tend to take many things of PHS for granted. take for granted these performances. take for granted the PHS spirit. take for granted these little things which actually matters alot. as the pastor held us in prayer, tears stung my eyes. it reminded me that i've been taking things for granted during my years in PHS. it's only when i graduate, then do i feel that the past had really been wonderful. a simple prayer stimulated my thoughts and made me reflect on my life.
precious lessons were learnt and i really did feel the PHS love. it's so powerful and special. it can never be replaced. i will always look back the past 4 years and smile. it holds so much meaning to me.. years will go by, people will grow old. but i will never forget PHS..
